Paula Faris
Paula Faris is an American journalist.
She previously worked as the TV reporter for ABC News. She is most famous for
her stint as cohost of Good Morning America Weekend, 2014-2018, and as host of
The View, 2015-2018. Prior to that she was the co-anchor on America This
Morning (World News Now) as well as America This Morning (America This
Morning). After graduating, she worked in several communications-related jobs
including an operations position at Mills/James Productions in Columbus, Ohio.
Because of the lack of opportunities in television, she held an opportunity as
a sales representative for radio. She eventually found work for one year as a
production assistant at WKEF/WRGT . She then occasionally report and anchor.
She was the weekend anchor at WCPO TV in Cincinnati, and the anchor for
weekdays at WCPO TV in Cincinnati from 2002 to 2005. After her contract expired
in 2005, she was a anchor and sports reporter at the NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV in
Chicago from November 2005 until December 2011. She was employed by ABC News'
news division in December. The first time she appeared on the network for its
World News Now and America This Morning on January 2, 2012. She was also on
Good Morning America's fill-in programme, Good Morning America, on January 2,
2012. She was later promoted as a reporter based in New York for all ABC News
programs. She was the host of America This Morning and World News Now's final
program on January 22nd 2013. Following the time that Bianna Golodryga quit for
Yahoo!, her debut as co-anchor on Good Morning America Weekend was on August 9,
2014. News. On August 25, 2015, ABC announced that she was joining The View as
a co-host for season 19. The contract was renewed by ABC to run its 20th season
on the 3rd of August. Season 21 was also the first season she was renewed as
cohost. Her most popular appearance was in the 21st and 22nd seasons of the
series.
