Ayelet Zurer

Ayelet Zurer is one of Israel's most popular actresses, is a very special woman. Born in Tel Aviv in 1967, she first gained the attention of Hollywood when she was chosen to play the role of Eric Bana's spouse in the Oscar(r) nominated film Munich (2005). Zurer is an American actress that has been featured in Studio films, such as Sony Pictures' Vantage Point which starred Dennis Quaid (with William Hurt), Samuel Goldwyn’s Fugitive pieces opposite Stephen Dillane, Paul Schrader’s Adam Resurrected with Jeff Goldblum and Willem Dafoe. Ron Howard's Angeles and Demons, opposite Tom Hanks, Darling Companion, an ensemble Lawrence Kasdan casting that features Diane Keaton, Kevin Kline and Warner Bros. She was the winner of the Haifa International Film Festival critic prize and received a star on Haifa’s "film boulevard" for her local and international achievements. Zurer was awarded the Israeli Television Academy Award, due to her performance in "In Treatment", a critically popular television series that was adapted for American TV by HBO. In 2014, she was nominated apposite herself for the year's top drama "Shtisel" however she was awarded the award for best actress in a drama for her performance as a brilliant surgeon facing the dilemma of life and death in Hostages, sold to BBC4 and Canal Plus, and as a format to the American ABC. She is the "face " of one of Israel's leading women's clothing companies- Golbary. Ayelet is a producer as well as a writer. Ayelet is working on some projects in Israel and in the USA. She has expressed an the desire for international collaboration with directors from around the globe because she believes in collaborating with writers and directors who are not well-known.
