Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28, 1977, is an American actress best recognized for her part in 24 as well as the voice work that she performed for Tess in NaughtyDog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was raised in St. Louis. She graduated in the year 1995 from Crossroads College Preparatory School. While in her youth she participated in Irish dance and was part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching's acting debut was the role of a guest in Star Trek: Enterprise. Later, Wersching was invited to be a part of guest shows such as Charmed and Killer Instinct. She played Amelia Joffe, a recurring character in ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital from March 2007 to November 2007. She has also worked in theaters , including Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire, as well as the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching played FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After the two seasons of 24, Wersching was a guest on several shows which included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which has her 24 co-star Kiefer Sutherland). In 2014, she was a series regular for the initial season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching played catcher for the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching was also the voice in the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on Twitter prior to her appearance in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer that premiered on December 7 in 2012. Wersching will play the Borg queen in the Star Trek: Picard's second season in September 2021.
